A passive house is considered to be the most energy-efficient form of building. Consuming 90% less heating energy than a conventional existing building, and 75% less than an average new building. This high energy efficiency is made possible by our range of windows, so whether you are looking for PHIUS or PHI certification, or even require a super-efficient window as low as 0.12 Btu/hr-sq ft-°F, we have the knowledge, certificates, and products to help you.

 

The reinforcing chambers in the sash and frame are filled with proEnergyTec foam, a special material that can easily be recycled later. The resulting thermal insulation values fulfill the required passive house standards for annual heating requirements to 4755 Btu/sq ft of living space.

This system works in conjunction with the H.O. Schlüter Classic System and AluClip Systems which enables a modern design with large glass surfaces, but also provides more solar gains.
