Passive house window

A passive house is considered to be the most energy-efficient form of building. Consuming 90% less heating energy than a conventional existing building, and 75% less than an average new building. This high energy efficiency is made possible by our range of windows, so whether you are looking for PHIUS or PHI certification, or even require a super-efficient window as low as 0.12 Btu/hr-sq ft-°F, we have the knowledge, certificates, and products to help you.

The reinforcing chambers in the sash and frame are filled with proEnergyTec foam, a special material that can easily be recycled later. The resulting thermal insulation values fulfill the required passive house standards for annual heating requirements to 4755 Btu/sq ft of living space.

This system works in conjunction with the H.O. Schlüter Classic System and AluClip Systems which enables a modern design with large glass surfaces, but also provides more solar gains.

Technical Drawings

We provide a full range of technical drawings for every project and work closely with the architect to overcome any obstacles during the design phase. We're on hand 24/7 if you need to use our expertise.

All of our technical drawings are shown in mm for precision.  If you prefer to receive drawings in inches, our team of designers and planners will happily make the conversion for you.

Every window we manufacture is designed from scratch to suit the needs of the building, so the dimensions, glazing, chambers, and steel reinforcements shown in this image may be different depending on your project specification.
